那么,镀金是一种什么的技术呢?在生活中用到的镀金技术与我们经常带的镀金饰品采用的技术是一样的吗?带着这些疑问,我还开始关注起了有关镀金、镀银以及镀钛技术的一些报道。发现镀金、镀银、镀钛采用的技术大体是一样的,总的来说都是一种电镀技术,利用专门的化学方式,像电解等方法,把一中比如金、银或者钛安在其他的不是同一种金属上面,通过电形成一层薄薄的膜层。

具体说来,镀金就是先把金汞弄成薄薄的一层先镀上去,然后利用电进行加热让汞挥发后,把金子放在金属或者是其他想要镀金的物体的表面,这样就可以镀上了一层金。

而镀钛呢,技术虽然与镀金、镀银有着相同之处,但是由于钛的本身特质决定,镀钛实际上是在物体的表面利用电的化学办法镀上了一层钛膜,它与我们常说的水镀差不多。听说镀钛采用的水镀工艺就是我们比较熟知的电镀工艺。据说,电镀工艺霸占了很长时间的镀膜工艺市场,主要因为它本身具有的毒性大,因此市场才逐渐缩小。现在使用的镀钛工艺,都是继承了原有电镀工艺比较好的优点,像耐磨性、外表光亮等,与此同时也改变了电镀工艺自身的有毒特性。所以镀钛工艺目前很受欢迎,都在于它的无毒性,还有它的环保特性。
